Immersed in the musical traditions of Ireland and Scotland, the Walters Favrau Pinc trio invites you to explore a broad palette of sounds shaped by their sojourns in Ireland and Scotland. Their music, a fusion of energetic turbo trad, never fails to engage the audience. With a fiddle as free as a Northern Irish fiddler, sharp Uilleann Pipes, a guitar tuned like a train and a stompbox that gets the crowd going, the trio create an unforgettable musical experience. Increasingly in demand for their concerts, festivals and other events, this year the band has marked milestones such as the big stage of the Pavillons Celtes at the Festival Interceltique, the Festival Bol d’Eire, the Festival de St Suliac, a tour of Wales with the On Land’s Edge festival and the Tuscania Irish Fleadh in Italy, to name but a few. Their freshly released debut album is already receiving rave reviews, confirming their place on the contemporary traditional music scene.
